INTRO CLASS
The Intro class will go over the following movements:
- Air Squat
- Front Squat
- Over Head Squat
- Shoulder Press
- Push Press
- Push Jerk
- Dead Lift
- Sumo Dead Lift to High-Pull
- Medicine Ball / PVC Clean
- Other essential movements that will be covered: pull ups, clean & jerk, snatch, rowing, burpees, kettle-bell swings, wall ball, turkish get up, thurster, hip/back extension, GHD situps, box jumps, handstand pushups and jump rope
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vast majority of people who are new to No Limit Gym CrossFit Go Hard must begin with an intro class. There is, however, the occasional athlete who has sufficient proficiency in our programming and can join our group classes immediately. If you have a strong background in weightlifting, solid capacities in basic body weight movements like pull-ups, push-ups, ring dips and hand stands and believe you are reasonably fit you may be a candidate to join our group classes. If you think you are one of these athletes please contact Sean Thomson. This is where your training enters the realm of sports and the competition begins. Classes are intense, challenging and move quickly. Workouts are generally 60 minutes and have 3 main components:
- Warm up / Stretching
- Skill Development
- Athletic Workout
We use weights, do calisthenics, body weight exercise and some gymnastics combined with running, rowing and jump roping. Movements are all functional and every workout is different.
